Information we collect

• Account and profile details: name, email address, and password (Supabase manages authentication tokens on our behalf).
• Financial inputs: property assumptions, rent and mortgage data, or other numbers you enter into our calculators or save as reports.
• Transaction data: checkout confirmations, Stripe payment identifiers, and subscription metadata. Stripe processes card information directly; RooFork never stores full card numbers.
• Communications: messages sent through the partner inquiry form, support emails, and survey responses.
• Usage information: device/browser details, IP address, and engagement events captured by first-party analytics or server logs for security and product improvement.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and personalize the calculators, dashboards, newsletters, and reports you request.
• Generate saved-report exports, activate premium calculator access, and send account communications.
• Operate and improve the Services, including product analytics, feature development, and quality assurance.
• Secure the platform, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Legal bases for processing

Where required by applicable law, we process personal data based on your consent, to perform a contract (for example, providing a premium subscription), to meet our legitimate interests in operating and improving RooFork, or to satisfy legal obligations.

How we share information

• Service providers: trusted partners such as Supabase (authentication), Stripe (payments), email delivery platforms, and infrastructure partners who support the Services under confidentiality agreements.
• Business transfers: if RooFork is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to deliver the Services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Saved calculator reports can be deleted from your dashboard at any time. You may also request account deletion by emailing hello@roofork.com.

International transfers

RooFork is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you agree that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate measures to protect personal data consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Your rights and choices

• Access, update, or delete account details by logging into your dashboard.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in each message.
• Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@roofork.com. We may ask for verification before honoring certain requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Analytics cookies and pixels help us understand aggregate usage and improve feature performance. You can adjust browser settings to control cookie behavior, but note that disabling cookies may impact functionality.

Children’s privacy

RooFork is intended for adults evaluating housing or investment decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
